
Creamy Jalapeno Popper Soup

Equipment
- Comp Blend Pellets
Ingredients
- 3 Diced Jalapeños
- 1 Diced White Onion
- 3 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Pound Bacon Chopped
- 6 Yukon Gold Potatoes
- 3 cups Half & Half
- 6 Cups Chicken Broth
- ½ cup All Purpose Flour
- 8 Ounces Cream Cheese
- Craig's Jalapeño Seasoning
Instructions
- In a large Dutch oven, brown bacon and remove from grease.
- Add Diced Jalapeno, and Onions to pot and saute until brown, add fresh garlic
- Add Flour to create a Roux, slowly add Half & Half and Chicken Broth. stirring constantly until well blended
- Add Potatoes and place on the smoker at 225 Degrees for 1 and a half hours. Remove from the smoker and add Cream Cheese and Shredded Cheese until they are melted and combined
- Season to taste with Craig's Jalapeno seasoning, Garnish with Shredded Cheese, Candied Jalapenos & Bacon.
