Ingredients
For Apples
- 5 lbs Granny smith apples Peeled, cored and sliced.
- 2 Lemons Juiced
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 T Cinnamon
- 1 T Vanilla
- 1 pinch Allspice
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
For The Crumble
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1 cup Oats
- 1/3 cup Brown sugar
- 1 T Salt
- 1 stick unsalted cold butter
Instructions
- Place prepared apples in 9x13 pan and mix with apple ingredients.
- For the crumble. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and cut in cold butter with a pastry cutter or fork until crumbly.
- Spread evenly over apple mixture.
- Cover pan with foil and place on preheated smoker.
- Smoke at 350° F for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and smoke for an additional 30 minutes or until apples are tender and crumb has turned golden brown.
